Bio

I'm Mark Harris.
I grew up in the bay areas of both California and Florida, spending my teenage formidable years in Tampa in a home where there were certain towels and soaps we weren't allowed to use.
My formal Art education began at Ricks College/BYU-Idaho where I received my Associates Degree with a discipline in Art. Tired of the snow and falling on the ice, I moved back to Florida to receive my Bachelors Degree of Art from the much warmer Ringling School of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida.
While studying at Ringling, having a fairly natual knack for form, draftsmanship and figure drawing, I was drawn to the idea of working with Disney's curriculum to help students join their Feature Animation internship program after graduation.
After graduation I started working for a gaming company in Tampa making children's interactive computer games. We worked with Disney Interactive, Mattel and Fisher-Price. It was a great studio experience working with so many talented people.
In 2006, I joined Multimedia Games in Austin Texas as a Production Illustrator and later as an ArtLead III, managing a team of artists.
In 2015 Multimedia Games rebranded as EVERI Games, Inc. and expanded its global market as I continued my role as an Art lead IV.
In 2025, EVERI Games was acquired and became part of IGT- International Gaming Technology still operting in Austin, Texas.
As an Art Lead /Team manager, I help direct the art working closely with team members , Designers, Developers, Producers, and Audio Technicians creating some fun, award winning games.
I work traditionally as well as digitally, but I still enjoy drawing on paper and paint on canvas.
I love to watch movies. I follow Baseball and Football. Im a huge Seinfeld fan. I stay up way too late.
